Tonight on Our United Strength Amy welcomes some of her fellow Bingers, including Heather Boulware (@hboulware) to talk food.
Food is one of the things that unites us, that brings us together to share and laugh and socialize. So we’re going to be talking about some of our favorite recipes and some of the interesting offerings at places like the Wisconsin State Fair.

4 large eggs
1/2 t salt
dash pepper (or to taste)
1c shredded swiss cheese
1 1/2 c 1/2&1/2
1/2 lb bacon (fried and crumbled)
1 4oz can sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup diced sweet onion
( Beat eggs and 1/2 & 1/2 with salt, pepper, and flour)
Layer bacon, cheese, mushrooms and onions in bottom of deep dish pie crust. Pour egg and 1/2 & 1/2 mixture over.
Bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes
You can make any variety you want. If you want to make a Denver Quiche, cook your onions and peppers and ham for a little while in a saute pan so that you cook most of the water out otherwise your quiche will be soupy. Same goes for the spinach quiche, but you can squeeze all of the water out of the thawed frozen spinach with a towel.
